Beavis and Butthead in Weiner Take All

In the market for a pop culture, trash-talking trivia game, but you’re a little short on cash? Try Beavis and Butthead in Weiner Take All (MTV Interactive/Viacom New Media). This is one of three new value-priced B&B CD-ROMs (they all retail for less than $20); the other two are Beavis and Butthead in Little Thingies and Beavis and Butthead in Calling All Dorks. Weiner Take All, the trivia game, is limited but fun. The same satirical commercial plays every time you use the program, which is lame, but the questions themselves cover Beavis, Butthead, and lots of other cool things, which is cool. Sample problem: “How Many Fires Has Courtney Love Been In, Or Set?” The other two titles are similarly entertaining, if just as lightweight. Little Thingies is a collection of short games, some lifted from Virtual Stupidity (like “Hock A Loogie”) and some newly made for the disc (like “Change It,” in which you must recognize which TV shows are cool and which are not, and get rid of the offensive ones with your remote control). Calling All Dorks is an “entertainment utility” with more B&B wallpaper, screen savers, sound effects, and trivia facts than you could ever desire.
