Lost & Found

Rhymes are the basis for Lost & Found (Interactive Toys/GTE – ages 4 -9), but they aren’t familiar and they aren’t very good. The opening screen is a puzzle with twelve pieces outlined. Each piece, when clicked, brings up a screen with a photo containing all sorts of objects. You’re given eight clues, in rhyme, to help find eight objects. Tools include a magnifying glass and a flash light. Each time a piece is found, a Happy face is the reward. The photos are ugly and have no coherent theme. Once you’ve done this a few times, you’ll be bored silly. The manual promises 40 clues, randomly chosen, for each puzzle, so you can play it again and again, but we haven’t a clue why anyone would.
