Nautilus CD (Metatec Corp., monthly), the first magazine created for CD-ROM, has been around for five years and it shows. There’s nothing slick or jazzy about Nautilus CD; it’s a straightforward, information-centered disc that looks and works like a magazine. It’s well designed, easy to navigate, has a clean layout with good type size, and a manageable amount of information. Flip around through the many features and you’ll never get lost. Under the different sections, which include a Multimedia Guide, Home & Office, DeskTop Media, Computerware, Entertainment, and Kidzone, you’ll find interviews, reviews, and news – everything you’d expect. This is for people who love their computers and want solid information on hardware and software. It’s a good buy.
