Inc. Magazine: How to Start Your Own Business
Inc. Magazine: How to Start Your Own Business (Zelos) has a busy interface. It’s not disorganized, although it does attempt to do a lot at one time. If you get impatient and click more than once, you may accidentally be bounced to somewhere unintended. This disc tries to convert an existing book to CD-ROM, adding multimedia features. While the audio/video clips of successful business heads is a cute touch that gives the program character, and the “personalized” mentor panel is inventive, this may not be a really effective way to learn this information. There’s a lot here and if you really want to start a business, do you need entertainment over study? There’s nothing wrong with this disc, but it might be more useful if it served to supplement rather than supplant the book.
