We’ve yet to find multimedia versions for the work of any of the big names in literature. Shakespeare and Sherlock Holmes (Creative Multimedia) are DOS-based programs built around a proprietary program called DiscPass that is text only. A major plus of CD-ROMs is their ability to hold volumes of text on a single disc and the ability to do full-text searches with speed and efficiency. That doesn’t happen here. The program just doesn’t make it. We’ll wait for a Windows version that adds some visual appeal and better functions before we invest in the complete anything.
