The Greatest Children’s Stories Ever Told

The Greatest Children’s Stories Ever Told and Children’s Treasury of Stories, Nursery Ryhmes, and Songs (Queue) are nice programs for little kids (3-7). Two 5-year-olds found their way around these discs after a ten-minute tutorial from Dad. The stories are short, and there are plenty of them so kids won’t lose attention. The voices and renderings are pleasant, but the animations are sparse and lack imagination. It didn’t matter to our reviewers. There are no games, but the “Publisher” option allows kids to create their own coloring books and stories. This is more creative than many of the jazzier programs on the market. Sometimes less is more.
