Compton’s Complete Street Guide

While Compton’s Complete Street Guide (Softkey International) doesn’t have the phone search capability of Street Atlas, it’s much prettier to look at and just as easy to use. And it has lots of cute little icons that you can drag and drop anywhere you want to dress up your maps. You can even give them labels for true customization. They look cool on the screen, but not as cool in print, so why bother? Stick with the real purpose of the program, to search and find, which it does perfectly well. Oh, if you’re interested in locating prisons in America, you can check that box under landmarks and a little barred building will mark the spot – a feature unique to this program.
