The Lost Mind of Dr. Brain (Sierra On-Line – ages 12 & up) begins in Dr. Brain’s lab, where he explains the puzzles and games. In order to reconstruct the scientist’s brain, you must complete all of the nine sections by playing anywhere from seven to 20 games. Each has three levels of difficulty.
Depending on the game, cognitive ability and/or motor skills are challenged. Some can be quite tricky and take a good deal of concentration, but fortunately you can take a break. The program will save your completed sections and your score. Instructions for each game aren’t always that clear, but some kids will find their way by just jumping in and starting.
Puzzle-addicted adults will also enjoy this disc.
